A Better New Tab for Chrome

Free· Productivity

Browsilla, a sleek Chrome extension, converts each fresh tab into a serene, efficiency-driven environment. Rather than confronting news feeds, advertisements, or interruptions, you're presented with precisely what's essential: your to-do items, convenient links, saved pages, current weather, and an uncluttered search interface. The entire operation occurs within your browser, ensuring no need for accounts, zero tracking, and no superfluous intricacy. Browsilla caters to creators, entrepreneurs, and specialists seeking a straightforward and rapid launch page to maintain their concentration.

Bonjourr replaces the browser's new tab with a minimalist startpage dashboard inspired by iOS design: a clean page you can customise while staying lightweight and fast. The vendor's own description emphasises three things — beautiful, customisable, and lightweight — and the product is distributed free. It suits people who want a calmer new tab rather than a feature-heavy one. (verified from the vendor's site on 2026-09-15.)

Tabliss is a browser extension that turns the new tab into a customisable dashboard: full-screen background imagery with configurable widgets layered on top. It supports Chrome, Firefox and Edge, and the vendor's own positioning is explicit about the price: 100% free, no subscriptions, no ads — which is the main practical difference from subscription-based new-tab products. Mue is a browser extension that gives modern browsers a new, customisable tab page. The vendor describes it as fast, open and free-to-use — "Modifiable. User-centric. Experience." is the project's own expansion of the name. Like other new-tab dashboard extensions it focuses on making the page you see most often configurable, and the open, free model means no subscription. (verified from the vendor's site on 2026-09-15.)
